Everyone's favorite sponge and squirrel duo is here to save the day in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.

The first trailer for the film — which combines live action and CG animation — reveals that Bikini Bottom has been scooped out of the ocean by a massive claw and brought to a research lab in Texas. The only two citizens who managed to escape are SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Sandy Cheeks (voiced by Carolyn Lawrence). A Texas native, Sandy will fight to bring her friends (and their home) back to the ocean before the villainous Sue Nahmee (Wanda Sykes) can sell them as pets. Joining her and SpongeBob in their journey is the rest of the Cheeks family, whose circus skills may just be the perfect weapon in the fight to save Bikini Bottom.

Helmed by Liza Johnson, who has directed episodes of The Last of Us and What We Do In the Shadows, Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie also features the voicework of Clancy Brown, Bill Fagerbakke, Mr. Lawrence, Rodger Bumpass, Johnny Knoxville, Craig Robinson, Grey DeLisle, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, and Matty Cardarople.

Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie premieres Aug. 2 on Netflix.
