Hawk Tuah Girl speaks! The viral star did her first interview with Brianna Chickenfry and didn't appear to immediately Milkshake Duck. All these words are in the Bible.

This is a translation for the not-so-terminally online: Hawk Tuah Girl — the young woman who went viral for a street interview in Nashville — was a guest on major influencer Brianna LaPaglia's podcast, which went well.

Haliey Welch, a.k.a. Hawk Tuah Girl, explained to LaPaglia her life before the viral video, what's happened since, and her plan going forward. (She has a full management team behind her now.) In general, Welch appeared to be a normal 21-year-old, especially considering it was the first public interview she'd done beyond the viral Hawk Tuah moment itself.

Not to spoil too much, but Welch dispelled many false rumors — like she lost her job or her dad's a preacher — and what she thinks of the whole thing. All in all, she was pretty funny and grounded.

This quote from Welch rules: "The people who are out here hating, I don't even know 'em. So what the fuck do I care?"
