Prime Day may not be until July 16 and 17, but plenty of Apple deals, some of the best we've ever seen, are live a week ahead of the sale.
One big reason is that Walmart just kicked off their Walmart Deals sale (we have notes on that name), bringing down the prices of AirPods and the M1 MacBook, causing Amazon to do the same to stay competitive. The results? Prime Day-worthy Apple deals, a week before Prime Day even begins, giving you the chance to avoid some of the chaos.
As we wait for Amazon's Prime Day Apple deals to officially go live, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more early deals to crop up. Until then, check out some of the best Apple deals ahead of Prime Day 2024:
iMac and MacBook deals
Why we like it
The M3 MacBook Air is for the folks who don't need an intensive video-editing workhorse of a laptop, but still appreciate streamlined performance in their laptop. Along with the M3 chip, you'll get WiFi 6E support, battery life of up to 18 hours per Apple's claim, and plenty of portability. At $999, this is the lowest cost of entry to the M3 line — we hope to see it drop at least $50 more by Prime Day, but if you're looking to avoid any potential of this laptop selling out in the event it hits a new record low, this isn't a bad price to grab it at.

Is this tablet a couple of years old? Yes. Is that why it's getting this $200 markdown? Probably! We first saw the iPad Air drop to this price at Best Buy a couple weeks ago, and though it's shot back up at the retailer, the Walmart Deals sale has brought it back down. An M1-powered tablet is hardly past its prime, still offering plenty of power for gaming and note-taking. While we do wish this iPad offered a little more storage space, at this sale price you're paying just under $70 more than you would for a discounted A14 Bionic chip-powered iPad with the same amount of storage.

What better way to enjoy the exceptional display brightness of the Series 9 than with the largest display you can possibly get? Mashable Senior Editor Stan Schroeder appreciated that this watch introduced Double Tap but wrote in his review that the 2000 nit max brightness and minimum of one nit make this watch incredibly functional to use in the middle of a sunny day, or in the darkness of your room in the early morning. Apple Watches haven't introduced a ton of exciting upgrades over the years, but we do like that with this sale price, you can grab the 45mm Series 9 for about $70 cheaper than you would the 41mm Series 9 at full price.

To be blunt, we don't consider the AirPods Max one of the best headphones out there anymore. They're missing key features, like a power button and a 3.5mm audio jack. But discounted to $399, they've finally been brought down to the realm of reasonable pricing. Previously, these headphones lowest price ever was $429, and more often down to $449. In short, we imagine this $150 discount will be one of, if not the best, we see throughout these headphones lifespan, especially considering the rumor that Apple will announce new and improved AirPods Maxes later this year.
We also want to give an honorable mention to the AirPods Pro, which are also $80 off and down to a new low price of $169.
