Amazon is running a new Big Spring Sale from March 20 to 25, and its press release specifies that "seasonally relevant items" are the stars of the show. Think robot vacuums that'll make spring cleaning easier, fitness trackers for warm-weather workouts, and... unlocked phones, apparently?

We'll let it slide: On the first day of the Big Spring Sale, the retail giant is doling out unseasonably good deals on smartphones that can be used with any carrier, the likes of which it usually reserves for Black Friday and Prime Day. That includes several record-low prices on current Google, Samsung, and Motorola models in brand-new condition that may sway hesitant upgraders. Apple's iPhones are MIA so far, but that may change as the sale progresses: New offers are being added every day.

Keep reading for a list of the best unlocked phone deals from Amazon's Big Spring Sale thus far — none of which require a Prime membership.

A close rival to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung's new Galaxy S24 Ultra is a premium 6.8-inch smartphone with a durable titanium design, a rear telephoto lens with impressive zoom capabilities, and a smattering of neat AI features. It also comes with a built-in S Pen stylus that doubles as a remote, said Mashable tech editor Kim Gedeon. This is the 256GB base model's first discount since it launched in January 2024.

Google's latest flagship smartphone nabbed a Mashable's Choice Award for its 6.2-inch 120Hz display, peppy Tensor G3 chip (which supports AI features), stellar cameras, and extra-long battery life; this particular configuration comes with 128GB of storage. It's not a wildly different handset compared to its predecessors, the also-great Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, but it's a pretty compelling buy at this new all-time low price.

Motorola razr+ (256GB)
$699.99
$999.99 Save $300.00

Why we like it

This isn't 2004's razr: The Motorola razr+ from 2023 is a snazzy flip phone with dual pOLED screens, a three-camera setup, and 256GB of storage. Now on sale at its all-time low of $699.99, it's a budget-friendly alternative to other foldables like the Google Pixel Fold and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. It's available on Amazon in several colors, including the very Barbiecore Viva Magenta variant that used to be exclusive to T-Mobile and the Motorola website.
