Based on Holly Jackson's best selling book that fused true crime with coming-of-age, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder follows a straight-As teenager who decides to base a special school project on a local cold case.

The trailer introduces us to Pip (Emma Myers), who has never quite believed what everyone else does: that murdered high schooler Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies) was killed by her boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni).

Pip teams up with Sal's brother Ravi (Zain Iqbal) to look into the case, which there's clearly more to than meets the eye.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is streaming on the BBC from July 1, and on Netflix from August 1.
